Sanctus Church
Meet The Pastor
Joshua Santibanez was born in the United States and raised with rich Chilean roots that continue to shape his heart for faith, family, and ministry. He and his wife have been joyfully married for nearly a decade and are proud parents devoted to building a Christ-centered home. As a third-generation pastor, Joshua carries forward his family’s legacy of faith with passion, humility, and an unwavering commitment to God’s call.
Joshua’s greatest passion is discipleship — guiding others to live more like Jesus and to fulfill His command in Matthew 28:19: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” His life’s mission is to nurture believers in truth, unity, and holiness, helping them experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
Joshua’s heart for ministry is supported by a strong educational foundation and years of hands-on experience. He completed two years of seminary training and one year of biblical studies, earning certifications in Biblical Leadership and Marital Counseling. His calling was formally recognized when he was ordained as a Youth Pastor (2016–2020) and later as a Discipleship Pastor (2021–2024).
Today, Joshua serves as the Lead Pastor of Sanctus Church, while also directing a tennis academy that trains young athletes for collegiate success. Beyond the church, he leads “Sanctus Church,” gatherings focused on worship and teaching about God’s holiness, and travels as an itinerant preacher, sharing the message of holiness and true discipleship.
When he’s not in ministry, Joshua loves spending time with his family — going out to eat, exploring new places, and enjoying life’s simple moments together. He believes that faith and family go hand in hand in reflecting God’s goodness in every area of community.
